..too many games this season against the top six or so./....play decent...miss a couple of gilt edge chances then fall to a single goal or two...not good enough however lets focus on the bigger brighter picture!

Sounds like the usual story
Depending on who it is its :
Felt contact was entitled to go down (ie Lukaku)
Wasnt enough contact for a pen (ie Gordon of Everton having his foot stood on and later being shoved over in the box)

I see the expected sunset on Thursday is 8.19pm so it will be impossible for Benrahma to be in any state to start

The debate about Benramha reminds me about the attitude towards Noble over the years. Never quite good enough, not top class ect ect but the stats tell a different story.
Look this game was always about damage limitation, so job done now on to Thursday

Haven't seen the replay since getting home, however my mate who supports sp*rs texted me straight away to say it was never a penalty

From reading the comments on here Sounds like one of those ones where he felt a slight touch and then crumbled like he'd been hit by a sniper

Benrahma has a lot of terrible games and makes a load of bad decisions.

But it doesn't change the fact he hasn't been useless he has six goals and six assists this season in the league which is almost 25% of all our goals.

Started the season so well but seems to have lost all confidence.


Definitely wasn't a penalty, I can't understand when looking at the monitor how he didn't look at where he touched him. Should have definitely done better though.

Shame cause they were very poor.

He shouldn’t have handled Lukaku full stop, but easy to say with hindsight and from the comfort of my chair at home. In the full flight of the game, it was an instinctive thing to do, and up until they scored it looked like he’d done the right thing in taking one for the team.

Interesting that Moyes has no sympathy with Dawson and said he should have handled Lukaku better. if someone has said that on here there would be an absolute meltdown from the usual thou shall not criticize suspects.

C&P - What if Leicester win the Europa Conference League?

This is far less complicated, as there is only a small chance that Leicester will finish in the top seven in the Premier League. The Foxes are 12 points behind West Ham in seventh, although they do have three games in hand.

If Leicester win the Europa Conference League, they will qualify for next season's Europa League. As long as Leicester finish outside the top seven, it will create an additional European place as titleholders. As mentioned above, another Premier League team cannot lose out or benefit as a result of Leicester's success.

Champions League: 1, 2, 3, 4
Europa League: 5, 6, Leicester
Europa Conference League: 7

If we finish outside the top 6 (likely IMO) and don't win the EL, this will be one of many we look back on with regret. We deserved a draw but lost, a familiar tale, and was Chelsea's first home win in four. Very frustrating.

Agree ref Benrahma, to put it in very simple terms ''he isn't good enough'' can only hope there are takers for him in the summer, but fear we may be stuck with him. Fornals also seriously needs to improve his passing, you give the ball away cheaply in this league and it can be 5 minutes before you get it back again.

I was pretty happy with the experiment. We made major changes and looked like a better, more committed side than we did against Brentford. Unlucky not to get a draw, which would have been a good result at Stamford Bridge.

Hopefully it’s served as a warning to a few players that their starting places in the league, and maybe ultimately Europa, are up for grabs if they don’t lift their game.

Having had a look at the Dawson decision again, it is utter shit.

All of the foul happened outside the box, and it's only where Lukaku falls over that he's beyond the last man.

Yellow card and a free kick at most.

I’m not saying vlasic’s a wold class player but he’s hardly played ,it takes loads of patience for some to settle in the prem.Someone somewhere thought he was worth 40 million ???? The durys out given the fact he’s played hardly any games,perhaps he’s crap,who knows ? One things for sure Benrahmas shit and getting worse.
